I study performance where the script has become social expectation. Depth is my natural habitat. Like a whale, I dive and resurface for air now and then. A bit Italian. A bit Serbian. A bit US American. A bit something else, in no particular order. Whole in my own way. I move from one language to another, wondering each time whether changing tongues also means changing soul, as they say. And indeed, whether we become who we are by choice or by conformity is the thread running through everything I write.
Studio la teatralità negli spazi in cui il copione è un’aspettativa sociale. La profondità mi è naturale. Come balena mi immergo e riemergo a tratti per respirare. Un po' italiana. Un po' serba. Un po' statunitense. Un po' altro ancora, in nessun ordine specifico. Intera a modo mio. Passo da una lingua all'altra ogni volta chiedendomi se cambiando idioma cambio anche anima, come dicono. E in effetti, se diventiamo chi siamo per scelta o conformità è il fil rouge di tutto il mio pensiero.
